« We are exhibiting projects of various scales, from the single-family house to the urban-planning project. These are the firm’s most recent works. The presentation will take a simple form : it will bring together working models, drawings, virtual images and photographs.

Placed side by side, do these projects present a coherent whole ? Do they proceed from a firmly established architectural proposition, unfailingly declined ? Do we belong to a movement ? Are we forming a new one ?

I am not certain that showing our projects clearly answers these questions. We belong to a lively, globalized and competitive milieu that values novelty, prizes « creativity, » and is drawn to strong ideas as much as to firm positions. The spectacle it produces is often spectacular, and anything that does not add up within it loses visibility. Yet it seems to me that our projects do not add up. Far from disappointing, this observation is stimulating : it is a promise of renewal. But since I sometimes doubt that it is borne out by the facts, in order to test its worth, I am curious to place these projects side by side within this public exhibition. »
