Périphériques Architectes   Paris

Gorezjutor Naclam.Bb

«(…) Sometimes editors, sometimes architects, we see architecture as a vast territory running from conception to communication, from technique to criticism, and from art to construction.

(…) Our practices are thus laboratories where personal ideas are tested before being proposed to the group’s strategy.

« 36 modèles pour une maison » and the magazine In-Ex are, for us, projects in their own right, on the same footing as the Café-musique in Savigny, the Maison Icône, the Nouveau Casino, the Maison MR, the médiathèque at the Centre Pompidou, or the competition entry for the Musée du Quai Branly.

Here we are exhibiting

7 projects won within a very short span of time and carried out at a brisk pace.

7 different scales.

7 programs ranging from the single-family house to the university, from the performance hall to the nursery school.

7 buildings that absorb the themes developed in News and In-Ex around the extra-ordinary, customization, the beauty of hypermarkets, « making do with the real, » exquisite corpses, low-tech-versus-glam style, and monstrosity. »
