Brunet Saunier Architecture Paris
Distance / Immersion
The Brunet Saunier firm develops an architectural language open to multiple readings. Its form is always simple, if not minimal, born of a fundamental reflection on place and on the means of increasing its value in use. The structure, rational and without artifice, follows from a strategy of openness to future change. The façade expresses a strong, serene and deeply coherent architectural identity, testament to an in-depth exploration of its own materiality. Between permanence and flexibility, abstraction and amenity, pragmatism and creativity.
The exhibition presents a selection of significant projects from the firm’s body of work, seen through the subjective lens of renowned photographers, following the principle « one building, one image, one photographer. » To the distanced representation of buildings inherent to each photographic work, the scenography adds reproductions of very large format, confronting the visitor with a sense of immersion.
