Hubert & Roy Architectes Paris
Founded in 1986 by Bruno J. Hubert and Michel Roy, the firm Hubert & Roy works on the design, technical development and construction of housing, and of public, educational, healthcare and industrial facilities, as well as on urban planning projects. Through numerous competitions and commissions, the firm has developed a flexible structure that allows it to take on projects of different sizes and natures, both in France and abroad, where Hubert & Roy has carried out projects in Hong Kong, Moscow and Beijing.
How are our built environments transforming — through what strategies, what construction methods, what materials, what forms of energy ? How do we move through them, how do we behave within them ? How should we describe them, and what images should we give of their transformation ? These are among the questions addressed by the projects on show at La Galerie d’Architecture.
