Valode & Pistre Architectes   Paris

Six towers designed and built by one firm. Scattered across the four corners of the globe, for this exhibition they have been grouped together to form an imaginary neighborhood. Setting them side-by-side illustrates Valode & Pistre’s atta- chment to reflecting each individual setting, rather than merely looking for a certain style. As extreme examples of the architect’s art, towers are complex exercises in combining optimal living conditions and comfort with excellent structural and energy performance. Nevertheless, each tower tells a unique story, whose symbolism and poetry aims to draw the user and the spectator from the analytical to the emotive.
