Gares du Grand Paris

Architecture et design des gares du Grand Paris: Résultats de la consultation de conseil

This exhibition presents the full body of work by the teams that submitted proposals as part of the consultation on architectural and design consultancy for stations, launched by the Société du Grand Paris. The exhibition also presents the work envisioned by the firm Barton Willmore International on the design charter for the Grand Paris Express maintenance sites.

The consultation on architectural and design consultancy for stations aimed to select an architect, supported by a multidisciplinary team of designers, engineers, artists and sociologists, capable of defining a shared reference framework for the design of Grand Paris stations.

The work of the winning consortium, led by Jacques Ferrier, is on show alongside the proposals from the other candidates : Jean-Marie Duthilleul, Bruno Fortier, Périphériques, and Élizabeth and Christian de Portzamparc (AECDP).

The concepts developed by the different teams, and their respective visions of the station of tomorrow, are brought to light, offering insight into the many facets of the architectural and design consultancy mission for Grand Paris stations.

Presented in the exhibition, the concept of a « sensual station » proposed by the Jacques Ferrier team offers a fresh, forward-looking perspective.
