Atelier d’Architecture Philippe Prost

Weaving connections between eras, between architecture and its context, between people and uses, between memory and creation — this is the daily work at the Atelier d’Architecture Philippe Prost, at the scale of the building, of a piece of the city, or of a landscape or territory.

To understand architecture as the art of transforming reality is another way of expressing what the very purpose (dessein) of architecture is : to transform the world, to change life.

Answering the founding triptych of research, teaching and practice is a nesting of scales : territories and landscapes, cities and neighborhoods, buildings, interior design and scenography. 

On the occasion of the exhibition, a book written by Philippe Prost will be published, Par art et par nature, architectures de guerre, published by Les Édifiantes.
