Atelier d’Architecture Tolila+Gilliland

In our architecture, we try to focus on the construction of intermediary spaces, in-between zones, inhabitable thicknesses. These in-between areas take on different forms according to their immediate environment, context, and materiality. In each one of these areas of experience, between the street and the bedroom, we propose potential spaces of collective experience, of transitional spaces to inhabit, in the sense of use but above all, as in Bachelard’s house of dreams, in the sense of a projection of the inhabitant’s imagination. 

Through twelve architectural projects, built or under construction, we invite you on an urban stroll, in search of the pleasure of building and inhabiting.
