Nasrine Seraji   Paris

Atelier Seraji, Paris

Nasrine Seraji, based in France since 1990, founded Atelier Seraji to put into practice her pedagogical thinking at some of the most prestigious schools in America and Europe, alongside an architectural practice recognized for its spatial dexterity and its critical capacity to rethink the architectural program.

Since the late 1980s, she has brought together a multidisciplinary team within her studio : architects, philosophers, artists and critics. This working structure serves a conception of the project that goes beyond the strict resolution of a program and the production of an architectural object expected by the client. Bringing this studio practice together with her teaching activity, Nasrine Seraji develops a singular reflection on architectural space, defined by the breaking of planes of perception and the fragmentation of the apprehension of form.
