This exhibition is devoted to the design method of the firm Architecture Studio, through an emblematic project : the European Parliament in Strasbourg, inaugurated in November 1999.

For this exhibition, the firm presents original drawings, heterogeneous in style but representative of each stage of the project : they express the « substance » and the « manner » of their work : « Tempos, » or preparatory drawings ; « Tracé rouge » (« Red Line »), or radiographic tracings ; and summary plans.

These drawings reflect the architecture more than the architect, who is only one of its actors. On one side, transparent or opaque papers drawn by hand ; on the other, computer « printouts. » In between lies the work of Architecture Studio, entirely a matter of tensions.
