Atelier d’Architecture Brenac & Gonzalez Paris
Une architecture au quotidien
This exhibition aims to illustrate and share ten years of everyday architecture. It tells a story : that of an approach made of research, doubts and the pleasures of practicing the architect’s profession, that of a firm whose pragmatic attitude rejects any dogma formulated as an a priori, any formal « ready-made. »
Each project thus finds its own autonomy through the search for a close relationship between architecture and context(s): each context is unique, each project is unique.
The Atelier d’Architecture has had the opportunity to take on very different programs (universities, embassies, hospitals, housing, offices…) both in France and abroad. Yet each project remains, above all, a finely tuned « response » synthesizing a certain number of parameters. These are also opportunities to explore and develop a way of thinking and an aesthetic whose coherence is found in narration and perception.
