Atelier d’architecture Pierre Hebbelinck Liège
Méthodologie du sensible
Through the exercise of recurring, even obsessive, methods, Pierre Hebbelinck defines a personal world imbued with great poetry.
Within the architectural studio, this world takes shape through exchanges with every member of the team, each with their own sensibility. This distinctive culture of exchange brings a real, perceptible dimension, characterized by an extremely careful attention to execution, as well as a body of work that articulates architectonic qualities with skillful realization.
Each of the ten projects on show has been examined from a singular angle — sometimes through a specific collaboration with a photographer or artist, sometimes through an unexpected constructive aspect, sometimes through the display of original research documents. Together, all these projects attest to an approach that is rich in its multiplicity and consistent in the depth it has gained over time.
This exhibition is presented as part of the cultural season « Espèces d’Architecte – Wallonie-Bruxelles, » organized in Paris from November 2008 to July 2009.
