Michele De Lucchi   Milan

In senso industriale: Dans le sens industriel

Entirely devoted to architecture, design and graphic work related to the world of industry, this exhibition brings together the full range of projects — built or unbuilt, in progress, or purely theoretical — allowing visitors to discover or better grasp Michele De Lucchi’s body of work in this field.

« Aesthetics is the mother of ethics » (Brodsky) — this is the conviction of an architect aware of the need to provide concrete answers, suited to the market’s current needs as well as to environmental requirements, while still managing to bring out the material beauty emanating from the industrial world in which we live.

Mostly connected to the various existing forms of electrical energy production — whether an intervention in the urban or rural landscape, or, more simply, the installation of a domestic meter — the projects on show all attest to the architect’s interest in the multiplicity of products and materials available on the market, as well as a clear awareness of the constraints and other requirements involved.
