Dusapin Leclercq Architectes Paris
Villes affectives – Villes effectives
Each city passed through, for the duration of a competition or a study, corresponds to a fleeting bond. Cities become passing loves, sometimes lingering as fortune allows. Projects about cities are not merely objective observations or clinical analyses of situations and programs. They are, above all, physical invasions to which one must surrender, following the rhythm of walking and working through : sentimental cities, affective in the idea of a future that is necessarily effective. Angers, Paris, Lille, Rennes, Boulogne-Billancourt, Arcueil, Toulon : subjective journeys in search of projects, born of chance encounters, sidelong readings, or a deliberately sought disorientation.
