Jensen Skodvin Arkitektkontor   Oslo

Second installment in a series of exhibitions devoted to Nordic architecture. Presented within the framework of the International Polar Year, this exhibition is devoted to the Norwegian firm Jensen & Skodvin Arkitektkontor.

The exhibition presents the firm’s most recent works, including the Mortensrud Church in Oslo, a new Cistercian monastery on the island of Tautra, the Norskform architecture center in Oslo, and the ferry terminal at Ropeid.

Jan Olaf Jensen and Børre Skodvin founded their office in 1995. Based in Oslo, they now employ 11 architects. Their work has been published in several international magazines, including a+u and The Architectural Review. In 1998, they received the Aga Khan Award for Architecture for their Leprosy Hospital in India, and in 2002 they were shortlisted for the Mies van der Rohe Award for the Mortensrud Church. Both partners teach at the Oslo School of Architecture.
