Elisabeth NAUD & Luc POUX architectes Paris
This exhibition presents ten years of design work by the Naud et Poux firm, structured around three thematic sequences. The firm’s output is shown in its entirety, touching on each of its projects. An initial, introductory space shows the conceptual and graphic dimension of the projects, revealing recurring formal explorations distinctive to the firm.
The second space consists of a series of projections : brief, rhythmic sequences made up of a variety of images, revealing the firm’s output as a whole. Finally, the last space emphasizes the importance of landscape in the built works and invites visitors to moments of pause and contemplation, allowing them to absorb the vegetal dimension of the projects.
The Naud et Poux firm first became known, starting in 1997, for office building projects in Paris. In 2001, the firm won a competition for the construction of daycare centers in Paris and subsequently won several other competitions for school buildings and early-childhood facilities.
